Description
Hit & Run Baseball 9 Year OU is a rum aged nine years, bottled under the baseball-themed Hit & Run label. The OU in the name refers to its kosher certification.
Expect notes of caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, a smooth, mellow palate, and a warm finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat or on the rocks. Sip it slowly, with a few drops of water if you like, and pair it with dark chocolate, nuts, or aged cheese. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
