Description
Jameson 18 Year Limited Reserve is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey that has been aged for a minimum of 18 years. It is a blend of pot still and grain whiskeys, matured to bring out a softer, deeper side of the Jameson house style.
Expect a smooth and complex profile: toffee and honey, ripe orchard fruit, wood spice and gentle vanilla, with a long, mellow finish. Long aging tends to bring more oak and dried-fruit depth than standard Jameson. Irish whiskey is traditionally smooth and light, matured in oak for at least three years, which makes it an approachable place to start for new whiskey drinkers.
This is a bottle for sipping neat or with a few drops of water, and it makes a thoughtful gift for Irish whiskey fans. It pairs well with a ginger ale highball, a hot Irish coffee, or a simple pour with a splash of water.
