Description
Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey matured in double-charred bourbon barrels, which give it more depth and richness than the standard Jameson. It keeps the smooth, easy Jameson character while adding a darker, toastier edge.
Expect vanilla, toasted oak and sweet butterscotch, with a gentle spice and a smooth, creamy finish. Irish whiskey is traditionally smooth and light, matured in oak for at least three years, which makes it an approachable place to start for new whiskey drinkers.
Drink it neat or over ice, or mix it into an Old Fashioned or a whiskey and ginger. This 1L bottle is a good size for home bars. It pairs well with a ginger ale highball, a hot Irish coffee, or a simple pour with a splash of water.
