Description
Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is an Irish whiskey that was matured in barrels previously used to age craft IPA beer. The beer-seasoned casks give the smooth, triple-distilled Jameson a distinctive hoppy twist. This 200ml bottle is a convenient size for sampling.
Expect Jameson's smooth vanilla and toasted-wood character with a lightly floral, citrusy hop note and a bit of added spice on the finish. Irish whiskey is traditionally smooth and light, matured in oak for at least three years, which makes it an approachable place to start for new whiskey drinkers.
Sip it neat or over ice, or pair it with a craft beer for a whiskey and beer combination. It pairs well with a ginger ale highball, a hot Irish coffee, or a simple pour with a splash of water.
