Jefferson's Marian McLain Batch Blended Straight Bourbon is a limited-edition release that pays homage to Marian McLain, the eighth-generation grandmother of Jefferson's founder, Trey Zoeller, and one of the earliest documented women in American whiskey. This exceptional blend comprises five distinct whiskies: 21% 14-year-old Tennessee Straight Bourbon, 40% 11-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 14% wheated double-barrel bourbon, 17% rum cask-finished bourbon, and 8% 8-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Bottled at 102 proof (51% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, it offers a rich and complex flavor profile.

On the nose, the bourbon presents aromas of caramel, brown sugar, bananas foster, dark cherries, and orange zest, with a delicate note of oak balancing the sweetness. The palate is full-bodied and oily, featuring flavors of pear, apples, toasted nuts like candied walnuts, lemon, oranges, aged oak, warm leather, cane sugar, and rum. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of nuttiness, fruitiness, and robust earthiness that mellow slowly.

This blend is a tribute to Marian McLain's entrepreneurial spirit and the rich history of women in the American whiskey industry. Its elegant presentation and exceptional flavor profile make it a noteworthy choice for whiskey enthusiasts seeking a sophisticated and well-crafted single malt experience.
