Johnnie Walker Blue Label is made from hand-selected rare Scotch whiskies blended for exceptional smoothness. This New York edition is presented in special packaging aimed at collectors and gift-givers.
Expect honey, dried fruit and dark chocolate, with a delicate smoky thread and a long, velvety finish. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Serve it neat, at room temperature, and take your time with it. It makes a memorable gift for a New York whisky fan. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
