Description
Knob Creek 9 Year is a full-flavored Kentucky straight bourbon aged nine years, from the Jim Beam Small Batch Collection. It is known for its bold character and higher proof compared with everyday bourbons.
Expect vanilla, caramel and sweet oak on the nose, with rich toasted wood, nuts and baking spice on the palate and a long, warm finish. Bourbon is made from at least 51 percent corn and matured in new charred oak, which is where much of the vanilla, caramel and toasted wood character comes from.
Pour it neat, over ice, or build a Manhattan or Old Fashioned with it. A splash of water or a single large cube can open up the aromas, and it pairs well with barbecue, smoked meats, aged cheddar or dark chocolate.
