Description
This is a pisco from Peru, bottled in 750ml. Pisco is a grape brandy that is distilled and bottled without oak aging.
On the nose expect floral aromas, citrus and peach; the palate brings pear, peach, gardenia, violet and lemon, with a medium finish and lingering floral notes. Pisco is made by distilling fermented grape juice and is normally rested in neutral vessels rather than oak, so the grape aromatics stay pure. It is the base of the Pisco Sour, made with lime juice, simple syrup, egg white and bitters, and it also works in a Chilcano with ginger ale and lime.
Serve chilled, or use it in a Pisco Sour or a Chilcano with ginger ale and lime.
