Description
Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Loch Lomond distillery, which is known for making a wide range of whisky styles. It is aged for 12 years and is known for its fruity character.
Expect peach and pear layered with vanilla sweetness, a hint of light smoke and a smooth, creamy finish. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Sip it neat or with a little water, or use it in a highball with soda. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
