Description
Lunazul Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, rested in oak for a smooth, mellow character. This 375ml bottle suits a quick margarita night or a smaller bar shelf.
Rested in oak, a reposado sits between a blanco and an añejo. Typical of the style, expect cooked agave and light vanilla on the nose, soft caramel and gentle baking spice on the palate, and a smooth, mellow finish. The short time in oak softens the edges without hiding the agave, which is why reposados are a favorite for both sipping and mixing.
Sip it neat or over a large cube, or use it in a margarita, a paloma or a tequila Old Fashioned. It pairs well with grilled meats, carnitas, mole and tacos al pastor.
