Description
Macallan M Black is a rare, darker counterpart in the M range, presented in a striking black Lalique crystal decanter. It is drawn from exceptional sherry-seasoned oak.
Expect deep sherry, fig and espresso on the nose, with bold dried fruit, dark chocolate and spice on the palate, and a powerful, lasting finish. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Sip it neat. It is a flagship collector's Macallan. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
