Description
Night on Earth is a limited-edition Macallan series celebrating festive nights around the world, bottled without an age statement. The Night on Earth 23 edition is a Speyside single malt in celebratory packaging.
Expect dried fruit and spice on the nose, sherry oak and citrus on the palate, and a smooth, rounded finish. Specific notes vary by edition. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Sip it neat or with a drop of water. It is a striking bottle for collectors and gifting. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
