Description
McIvor is a blended Scotch whisky with a mellow, easy-drinking character. Blended Scotch combines malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland for a smooth and balanced result.
Expect light malt, gentle vanilla, a hint of oak and a touch of smoke, finishing smooth and soft. This description reflects the typical blended Scotch style. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Serve it neat, over ice, or with soda or ginger ale. The large size suits parties and home bars. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
