Meukow VS Cognac is a classic VS expression from a house founded in 1862 by the Meukow brothers, instantly recognizable by its panther-marked bottle. Double-distilled from Ugni Blanc in copper Charentais stills and matured in Limousin oak, it blends eaux-de-vie to a supple, fruit-and-vanilla profile. This VS even claimed the Cognac Trophy at the 2004 International Wine and Spirits Competition, a rare honor at its grade. We find it approachable and warming, with bright orchard fruit and a clean finish.
