Mijenta Blanco Tequila 750ml

Mijenta Blanco is a small-batch, sustainability-minded tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, made from blue Weber agave. It opens with light tropical fruit, ripe citrus and soft honeyed agave, followed by agave nectar, vanilla and lime on the palate.

Unaged and bottled for clarity, a blanco puts raw agave front and center. Typical of the style, expect cooked-agave sweetness on the nose, bright citrus and a touch of black pepper on the palate, and a clean, crisp finish. It is light-bodied and unoaked, so the agave itself does the talking, with a peppery, mineral edge that stands up well to lime and salt.

Pour it over ice with a squeeze of lime, shake it into a margarita or paloma, or sip it neat in a small glass. Blancos also pair nicely with ceviche, fish tacos, guacamole and anything with fresh citrus or chiles.
