Description
Montefiore Petite Sirah is a kosher red wine from Kerem Montefiore, an Israeli producer, made from Petite Sirah and bottled in a standard 750ml size. The standard 750ml bottle is a convenient size for sharing at dinner.
Petite Sirah is typically inky and full-bodied, with blueberry, blackberry, black pepper and dark chocolate, firm tannins and a long finish. Because style and oak treatment vary by producer, the exact balance of fruit, spice and tannin may differ from bottle to bottle, but the overall impression should be a friendly, food-oriented red.
