Description
Mount Gay Andean Oak is a special release from Mount Gay, the historic Barbados rum house founded in 1703, finished in casks made from Andean oak.
The wood imparts a character distinct from American or French oak. Expect vanilla, warm spice and toasted oak, with a smooth, medium-bodied palate and a gentle, lingering finish. The Caribbean and Latin American rum tradition spans bright, grassy white rums to deeply sweet, oaky aged bottlings.
Sip it neat or over a large cube. It is versatile enough for a simple highball or a tropical punch. It is an easy bottle to keep in the home bar for both sipping and mixing.
