Description
Octomore 12.2 is part of the Octomore series from Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, among the most heavily peated single malt Scotch whiskies produced anywhere. Each release in the 12 series is distilled from Islay-grown barley and matured on the island.
Expect an intense wall of peat smoke balanced by the distillery's signature fruit-forward sweetness, with brine, pepper, and a long, smoky finish. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open it up.
