Description
Octomore 12.3 is part of the Octomore series from Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, among the most heavily peated single malt Scotch whiskies produced anywhere. The .3 expression in each Octomore release typically showcases the most intensely peated barley in that year's lineup.
Expect a powerful profile of peat smoke, dark fruit, and oak, with brine and pepper on the palate and an enormous, long-lasting smoky finish. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water.
