Description
Old Forester Rye is the Louisville distillery's rye whiskey, made in the same careful, consistent way as the brand's famous bourbon. Rye brings a bolder, spicier grain character than bourbon while still keeping Old Forester's smooth, approachable feel.
Rye whiskeys typically lead with pepper, cinnamon and baking spice over a base of caramel and vanilla, finishing dry and warming. Individual bottlings vary, so treat these notes as typical of the style rather than a precise tasting profile for this bottle.
Pour it neat or over ice, or mix a Manhattan, Sazerac or Old Fashioned. It also pairs well with charcuterie, sharp cheeses and grilled meats. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
