Description
Old Pulteney 12 Year is a single malt from Pulteney Distillery in Wick, on the far north coast of Scotland, often called the maritime malt for its seaside character. It is matured in oak for twelve years and is known for honeyed sweetness with a touch of salt.
Coastal and island malts typically add a touch of salt and maritime character to honeyed fruit and malt, with a long, warming finish. Individual bottlings vary, so treat these notes as typical of the style rather than a precise tasting profile for this bottle.
