Description
An exceptionally rare, ultra-aged expression from Penelope's Light Whiskey program. Distilled from a 99% corn / 1% malted barley mashbill at the historic Ross & Squibb Distillery (formerly Seagram's) in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, this light whiskey rested 18 years in second-fill oak, mellowing into a surprisingly rich, dessert-like spirit bottled at cask strength (140.2 proof). Layers of honeycomb, vanilla cream and caramelized sugar make it a standout for collectors seeking something outside the standard bourbon and rye categories.
