Description
Penfolds Bin 407 is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Penfolds of Australia, a red in the Bin range. The standard 750ml bottle is a convenient size for sharing at dinner.
Cabernet Sauvignon is typically full-bodied, with blackcurrant, dark plum and cedar on the nose, firm tannins on the palate and a long, structured finish. Exact style varies with oak and ripeness, but dark fruit and a touch of spice usually lead. Because style and oak treatment vary by producer, the exact balance of fruit, spice and tannin may differ from bottle to bottle, but the overall impression should be a friendly, food-oriented red.
