Description
Plantation Rum 2007 is a vintage-dated rum aged 15 years, using Plantation's double-maturation process: tropical aging followed by finishing in French oak casks.
Expect tropical fruit, vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, a rich palate of dried fruit, caramel and gentle spice, and a warm, lasting finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Best sipped neat or over a large ice cube. Pour it neat or over a single large cube so you can taste how it evolves, and consider pairing it with dark chocolate or a good cigar.
