Description
Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is a cognac made in a rich, smooth style. This is the 750ml format.
Expect intense aromas of burnt caramel and orange, followed by toasted oak, spice and dried fruit with a long finish. Cognac is double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, which gives it the fruit-forward, floral character that sets it apart from other brandies. Grade matters: VS is aged at least two years, VSOP at least four and XO at least ten, so older grades are generally richer and more layered.
Sip neat or over ice, or use in a cognac cocktail. A tulip-shaped glass concentrates the aromas, and a few drops of water can open up the nose.
