Description
Rémy Martin V is a cognac from Rémy Martin, a house that blends eaux-de-vie from the Grande and Petite Champagne crus. This is the 375ml half bottle.
Expect fresh fruit, vanilla and light oak spice with a lively finish in the VS style. Cognac is double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, which gives it the fruit-forward, floral character that sets it apart from other brandies. Grade matters: VS is aged at least two years, VSOP at least four and XO at least ten, so older grades are generally richer and more layered.
Serve neat, over ice, or in cocktails and highballs. A tulip-shaped glass concentrates the aromas, and a few drops of water can open up the nose.
