Description
Rémy Martin VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac made from Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie. This is the 375ml bottle. The 375ml half bottle suits smaller occasions and gifting.
Expect dominant vanilla from ageing in French Limousin oak, followed by ripe apricot, baked apple and elegant floral notes, with a silky, well-balanced palate. Cognac is double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, which gives it the fruit-forward, floral character that sets it apart from other brandies. Grade matters: VS is aged at least two years, VSOP at least four and XO at least ten, so older grades are generally richer and more layered.
Serve neat, over ice, or in a cognac cocktail such as a Sidecar.
