Description
Rhum Barbancourt 15 Year (Réserve du Domaine) is a Haitian rhum distilled from fresh sugarcane juice and aged 15 years in oak.
Expect notes of dried fruit, vanilla and baking spice, a smooth, rich palate, and a long, elegant finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat or over ice. Sip it slowly, with a few drops of water if you like, and pair it with dark chocolate, nuts, or aged cheese. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
