Description
Ron Barceló Añejo is a smooth aged rum from the Dominican Republic, matured in oak.
Expect notes of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, a smooth, mellow palate, and a warm finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat, over ice, or mix it with cola. Pour it neat or over a single large cube so you can taste how it evolves, and consider pairing it with dark chocolate or a good cigar. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
