Description
Rustico Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine from the Veneto, made in the fresh, fruity style that Prosecco is known for.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with the second fermentation in pressurized tanks (the Charmat method). The result is very fine, persistent bubbles, with crisp, fruity and floral flavors and a refreshing, balanced finish. Like most sparkling wines in this style, it is meant to be enjoyed young and fresh, with a steady stream of fine bubbles that lifts the fruit and keeps the finish clean.
Serve well chilled, around 40 to 45°F, in a flute or tulip glass. It suits aperitif hour, light appetizers and salty snacks, and it works well in a mimosa or Bellini.
