Description
Sauza Hornitos Plata is a 100% agave blanco tequila with a crisp, clean profile and bright agave notes, in a 375ml bottle for sampling or small gatherings.
Unaged and bottled for clarity, a blanco puts raw agave front and center. Typical of the style, expect cooked-agave sweetness on the nose, bright citrus and a touch of black pepper on the palate, and a clean, crisp finish. It is light-bodied and unoaked, so the agave itself does the talking, with a peppery, mineral edge that stands up well to lime and salt.
Pour it over ice with a squeeze of lime, shake it into a margarita or paloma, or sip it neat in a small glass. Blancos also pair nicely with ceviche, fish tacos, guacamole and anything with fresh citrus or chiles.
