Description
Siembra Alteño Blanco is an unaged tequila from Siembra Spirits, made in Arandas, in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, a region known for larger, sweeter piñas. The highland style tends to be rounder and fruitier than lowland tequila, and this blanco is bottled at 46% ABV, stronger than most, with no barrel influence.
The nose offers cooked agave sweetness with citrus peel and fresh herbs. On the palate it is vibrant and clean, with bright citrus and a gentle peppery, mineral edge, finishing crisp and slightly sweet.
Sip it neat to appreciate the highland profile, or use it in a margarita, paloma or any cocktail where you want the agave to carry the drink. It is a versatile bottle that suits both the casual drinker and the agave enthusiast.
