Description
Taconic Straight Rye is a rye whiskey from Taconic Distillery in New York's Hudson Valley. As a straight rye, it is made from a rye-led mash and aged in new charred oak for a spicy, flavorful profile.
Rye whiskeys typically lead with pepper, cinnamon and baking spice over a base of caramel and vanilla, finishing dry and warming. Individual bottlings vary, so treat these notes as typical of the style rather than a precise tasting profile for this bottle.
Pour it neat or over ice, or mix a Manhattan, Sazerac or Old Fashioned. It also pairs well with charcuterie, sharp cheeses and grilled meats. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
