Description
Taylor Fladgate 20 Year Tawny Port is an aged Tawny from one of the great Port houses, with date, toffee, caramel and mulled raisin flavors. A 750ml bottle serves about five glasses. A dependable choice for weeknight dinners, family gatherings, holiday meals, hosting guests or a relaxed evening at home.
Tasting profile: Tawny-style Port is typically smooth and nutty, with dried fruit, caramel and toasted almond notes and a warm, lingering finish.
Serve slightly cool after dinner with nuts, aged cheese, caramel or crème brûlée. Pour it in clean glasses, and let the bottle settle a few minutes after opening. Once opened, reseal the bottle and store it cool; fortified and sweet wines keep well for a few weeks.
