Description
Taylor Tawny Port Black is a tawny-style Port in a large 1.5L bottle, made in the tradition of Portugal's fortified dessert wines. Tawny Port is aged in wood, which gives it an amber hue and a nutty, mellow character that suits sharing at the table.
Port is a fortified wine, typically rich and sweet, with dried fruit, caramel and spice notes and a warm, lingering finish. Fortified with grape spirit during fermentation, Port keeps well after opening for a few weeks, making it a good choice for a bottle you plan to share over several evenings.
Serve in small pours at cellar temperature with dark chocolate, nuts or blue cheese. Once opened, re-cork and store in a cool place, where it will keep well for a few weeks.
