Description
Teperberg Impression Cabernet Sauvignon Semi-Dry is a kosher Israeli red from the Impression range. Teperberg Winery was founded in Jerusalem in 1870 and is one of Israel's oldest family-run wineries. This bottling softens Cabernet's structure with a touch of natural sweetness for a smooth, easy-drinking glass.
Cabernet Sauvignon is typically full-bodied, with blackcurrant, blackberry and cedar notes, hints of spice, and firm tannins that carry a lingering finish. The grape's firm structure suits aging in the bottle for a few years, though bottles like this are generally made to be enjoyed on release, and decanting for twenty minutes helps open up the aromas.
Serve at cool room temperature, around 60 to 65 degrees F, alongside grilled meats, roasts or hard cheeses. Open the bottle about thirty minutes before serving so the wine can breathe and the flavors can show.
