Description
Tulip Reserve Syrah is a reserve-level Syrah from Tulip Winery in Israel, bottled from the 2011 vintage.
Syrah typically brings blackberry, plum and black pepper, a full-bodied palate with savory, smoky nuances, and a long finish. The peppery, savory character of the grape pairs naturally with spiced and smoked dishes, and good examples can age gracefully for several years.
Serve at cool room temperature, around 60 to 65 degrees F, alongside grilled meats, roasts or hard cheeses. Open the bottle about thirty minutes before serving so the wine can breathe and the flavors can show. It is a straightforward choice for everyday drinking and pairs easily with a wide range of dishes.
