Description
WhistlePig Boss Hog X: The Commandments is a single barrel rye bottled at proof, part of WhistlePig's Boss Hog series of limited annual releases. This edition takes an unusual double finish inspired by the brand's own land of milk and honey, using experimental whey spirit and aged mead barrels.
The whiskey is infused with aromatic resins from Egypt, and the profile reflects that: creme brulee, lemongrass and rosemary, with hints of red berries and freshly crushed black pepper. Because each bottle comes from a single barrel, no two are exactly alike.
This is a collector's bottle best poured neat, with a few drops of water if desired. Sip it slowly to appreciate the layers.
