Description
Widow Jane American Oak is an American whiskey from Widow Jane in Red Hook, Brooklyn, aged in new American oak and proofed with mineral-rich water from the Rosendale limestone mines of New York's Hudson Valley.
American oak tends to give caramel, vanilla and toasted wood notes, and the limestone water lends a smooth, round texture and a long, mellow finish. It is a softer, more approachable expression than the higher-proof bottlings in the range.
Sip it neat or over ice, or use it as the backbone of an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
