Description
XM Special 12 Year is an aged rum from Guyana, blended and matured for a smooth, rich character.
Expect notes of caramel, dried fruit and spice, a smooth palate, and a warm finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat or over ice. Sip it slowly, with a few drops of water if you like, and pair it with dark chocolate, nuts, or aged cheese. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
