Description
Casa de Hamsa Añejo is an añejo tequila in a 1L format. Añejo means the tequila has rested in oak for at least a year, which softens the agave and adds depth.
Expect a deep amber color, with sweet notes of caramel and vanilla and subtle hints of cooked agave. The oak adds gentle spice such as cinnamon and clove, and the palate is smooth and silky. Extended time in oak builds a richer, rounder style, with caramel, vanilla and toasted wood layered over the cooked agave, and a warm, smooth finish.
Serve neat, on the rocks or as the base of an elevated Old Fashioned. It is best sipped neat or over a single large ice cube, and it also makes a refined base for an Old Fashioned-style cocktail.
