Description
Don Ramón is a Jalisco tequila house founded in 1996, and this Plata Cristalino is made from 100% blue agave. The cristalino style starts with an aged tequila and then filters out the barrel color, so the result is crystal clear while keeping some of the softness and depth that time in oak provides. It sits between a crisp silver tequila and a rounded reposado or añejo.
Expect a clean, bright nose of cooked agave and fresh citrus, with a gentle sweetness underneath. The palate is smooth and silky, with soft vanilla, light pepper and herbal agave notes, and a short, clean finish with a hint of warmth.
Serve it chilled or neat in a small glass to appreciate the texture, or use it in a premium margarita or paloma where its clarity and smoothness stand out. The presentation also makes it a striking gift.
