Description
Fuenteseca Reserva 5 Year is an extra añejo tequila crafted from 100% blue agave and aged a full five years in oak barrels, among the longest maturations in the category. The extended aging yields a deep, complex profile of dried fruit, oak, caramel and warm spice, with a long, smooth finish suited to slow sipping neat. An extra añejo is aged for more than three years, the longest aging category for tequila, and the extra time in wood builds real depth.
Sip it slowly and neat, with a few drops of water if you like, alongside dark chocolate or a cigar-style after-dinner pairing. A good pick for collectors and for anyone marking a milestone.
