Description
This limited-edition Glenfiddich 29 Year is described as the first single malt Scotch finished in Japanese ex-awamori casks. It spent 29 years maturing in American and European oak at the Glenfiddich distillery in Speyside before a final finishing in rare awamori casks.
Expect a rare, intricate character, shaped by long maturation and the unusual finishing, with layers of ripe fruit, oak and subtle spice. As an old, rare malt it is best treated as a contemplative sipper.
Serve it neat in a tulip glass, with time and a drop of water to open up. A collector's piece and an exceptional gift.
