Description
Golani Doublewood is a whisky bottled at 750ml and presented as a double wood-aged expression, meaning it is matured in two different types of cask for added layers of flavor. It is listed in the world whisky category. American whiskey is typically aged in charred oak barrels, which contribute vanilla, caramel and spice.
Double wood maturation usually brings together the spice and vanilla of one cask with the fruit or sweetness of another. Expect a smooth, rounded profile with caramel, dried fruit and gentle oak spice, and a warming finish.
Enjoy it neat or with a splash of water, or over ice in a simple whisky cocktail.
