Description
Grand Mayan Ultra Aged Añejo is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Guadalajara, Jalisco, presented in a hand-painted, individually numbered ceramic decanter crafted by Mexican artists. Extended barrel aging gives it a rich, rounded character well suited to sipping. Expect sweet nuts, cooked agave and chocolate on the nose and palate, with hints of citrus and a smooth, warm finish. An extra añejo is aged for more than three years, the longest aging category for tequila, and the extra time in wood builds real depth.
Sip it slowly and neat, with a few drops of water if you like, alongside dark chocolate or a cigar-style after-dinner pairing. A good pick for collectors and for anyone marking a milestone.
