Description
The Johnnie Walker Private Collection was a limited, annual series that showcased rare and experimental blending from the Walker inventory. Each release is presented in a numbered bottle.
Expect a sophisticated, layered profile of dried fruit, honeyed malt and oak spice, with a gentle wisp of smoke and a long, elegant finish. Details vary by year. Scotch whisky must be matured in oak for at least three years in Scotland, and the type of cask used plays a large part in shaping the final flavor.
Sip it neat, or with a drop of water. It is a collectible for dedicated Johnnie Walker fans. A few drops of room-temperature water can open up the aroma, and it pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked salmon or aged cheese.
