Description
New Riff 6 Year Malted Rye comes from New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky, and pairs a malted rye grain bill with six years of barrel aging. Malted rye brings a distinctive, slightly sweet grain character on top of the classic rye spice.
Rye whiskeys typically lead with pepper, cinnamon and baking spice over a base of caramel and vanilla, finishing dry and warming. Individual bottlings vary, so treat these notes as typical of the style rather than a precise tasting profile for this bottle.
Pour it neat or over ice, or mix a Manhattan, Sazerac or Old Fashioned. It also pairs well with charcuterie, sharp cheeses and grilled meats. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
