Description
Don Julio Primavera is a reposado tequila from Don Julio, the Jalisco house founded by Don Julio González in 1942. It is finished in orange wine casks, where the tequila mingles with the light essence of wine infused with macerated orange peel during barrel mellowing.
Expect honeyed agave and a hint of spice that culminate in a light, citrusy finish. The bottle is 750ml and bottled at 80 proof.
Serve it on the rocks with an orange wheel, or combine it with club soda and a touch of citrus for a refreshing drink. It also sips nicely neat, chilled, as a spring or summer pour.
