Description
Lost Lore Reposado 98 Proof is an oak-rested reposado tequila from Lost Lore, a 100% agave tequila from Mexico. A reposado is rested in oak for a period of two to twelve months, which softens the spirit and adds gentle wood character without hiding the agave.
The 98 proof in the name signals a higher bottling strength, so expect a fuller, richer reposado with vanilla, oak and cooked agave and a warm finish.
Enjoy it neat, on the rocks or shaken into a reposado margarita; grilled chicken, carnitas and aged cheeses make good partners. A great all-rounder that works as well in a cocktail as it does in a glass on its own.
